There’s no guarantee that all users in the area will have their cell phone location on or will receive the message. The “estimate” of users that you see prior to sending is our best estimation as to the number of recipients. As more people download and begin using the app, more recipients will become available.

Yes. Messages are sent and are active for a described timeframe. After that, they will automatically go to the “expired” mailbox.

Yes. Similar to the categories of messages offered to the message sender, each recipient has the ability to toggle on/off message categories… with a few exceptions such as missing people, weather and/or catastrophic events, etc.
